Siegfried Rauch, known for his role as the "Traumschiff" captain, starred alongside the famous Steve McQueen as the race car driver Erich Stahler. What few people know is that a close friendship developed between the two actors. Rauch captured their shared moments and mutual visits with his Super 8 camera. Decades later, he rediscovered this footage, and suddenly, eyewitnesses from that time came forward to share their memories of the spectacle.
