Spion zwischen zwei Fronten

Locked up in Jersey prison, safecracker Eddie Chapman (Christopher Plummer) senses his chance when the Germans land on the Channel Island in 1940. He offers himself to the German secret service as a spy and, after undergoing special training, is actually sent to England on a special assignment. Once there, he in turn entrusts himself to the British secret service. A game between the fronts has begun.
